Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actress when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and 2020 (since 2020 (from). In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular in the series of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her role in the pilot television series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was two years old She and her parents moved to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. Due to her family's financial problems the actress began appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of her sophomore year and earned an GED. After that she was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She studied improv with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
